An essential skill in woodcraft is learning the process to get perfectly sized, squared, and flattened pieces from the rough cut stock you start out with. Using a plane and square, we will practice this technique as we prepare the sides of a handsome box.
About the instructor: Paul Tuller has been designing and building custom furniture and architectural elements for more than 25 years. The majority of his work is inspired by traditional Japanese design and made using Japanese hand tools.
