Introducing a collaboration between Sharing Arts (formerly known as Sharon Arts) and Terrapin Glassblowing Studio.  These classes will take place at Terrapin Glass in Jaffrey.

This introduction to glass pendants will give you three styles to add to your arsenal of flame worked jewelry. Start with the solid colored teardrop- where students experience molten glass and gravity for the first time.  Next is the swirled color teardrop- a simple design that eases you into some of the most core flameworking techniques.  We start by building up your muscle memory right away with this organic color pattern and play with gravity and shaping the pendant to your own unique preference.

Next, we refine our dots for an implosion style pendant, always a favorite glassy trick to know. Learn about the best colors for the job, and add your own hook.

In this class students will have ample time to practice each technique and will be well prepared for any Level II class.
